Conversion Optimizer ("we", "our") is a Shopify app that analyzes your store and provides conversion recommendations. This policy describes what data we collect and how we use it.

Data we collect

• Shop information: Your store's myshopify.com domain when you install the app.
• Access token: A token provided by Shopify after you authorize the app. We store it encrypted and use it only to run store scans and fetch product/theme data via Shopify's API.
• Billing and plan: Whether you have an active subscription and which plan (Growth, Pro, or Pro Annual) so we can provide the correct features.
• Recommendations: The list of recommendations generated by a scan (stored so you can view and export them).

How we use data

We use the data above only to operate the app: run scans, generate and store recommendations, and manage your subscription. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing. We do not use your data for purposes unrelated to the app.

Data retention

We retain your shop record and recommendations while the app is installed. If you uninstall, we mark the shop as uninstalled and stop making API calls. You may request deletion of stored data by contacting support.

Security

Access tokens are encrypted at rest. We use HTTPS and follow standard practices to protect data.
